We had a great visit from our mountain man, Scott Sorensen. The fourth graders loved hearing some of his tall tales, seeing his possibles sack and feeling all his animal pelts. Fourth grade is looking forward to having our own rendezvous and doing many of the activities that mountain men do.

I love your new blog look! Lots of fun things. I am sure the kids enjoyed having the Utah mountain man come talk. You have some amazing things going on in 4th grade. What I would give to teach with you.

I am so glad that you posted that video on your blog- that was the first thing that Nathan told me about the Mountain man- kissin the back of your hand- he said it exactly as Mt Man Sorensen said- "the squirrel will think your weird kissing the back of your hand." :) Cute! They enjoyed that a lot- I wished that I could have come that day!
My son Jake absolutely loves coming to your class for unit each day. He thought having the mountain man come was so great! Thanks
