We had an incredible first day of school. Once we got all the jitters out first thing in the morning, we were ready to face the day. We began at the flag pole with the raising of the flag. What an awesome scene that was. From there, we never quit all day long. We enjoyed a getting to know you activity with M&M's, got our notebooks with our planners all organized, read some back to school poems, met with all of fourth grade and Mr. Theobald to talk about school rules and expectations, enjoyed a great lunch and recess, played Back to School Bingo with popped popcorn, filled out a "getting to know you survey" on our new laptops and wrote about our "first day in fourth grade." Wow! If your fourth grader came home tired, you will now know why. A big thnk you to all the great parents of these children. They all came ready to learn and eager to work hard.

Mrs. Morrison-
It sounds like you had a great first day of fourth grade! What a great teacher you are. Way to get your pictures up on your blog.

Great job Trish! I wish I was in
4th grade again! Your students should be so excited to come to school every day. Hope you have a wonderful school year!
